Mission Applications
SpaceField
System-level anomaly detection for satellite constellations
SpaceField is a system-centric analytic framework for monitoring satellite constellations as evolving geometric systems rather than as isolated objects. Using topological data analysis and history-aware comparison metrics, it identifies distributed structural changes that conventional per-satellite monitoring can miss. In demonstration analysis, SpaceField detected sustained constellation-level regime shifts even when individual-satellite anomaly scores remained nominal, supporting early-warning monitoring for elevated activity and reconfiguration in the space domain.
SwarmField
Coordination and resilience analytics for autonomous swarms
SwarmField analyzes swarm telemetry as a coupled dynamical system. It builds an information-theoretic dependency graph from agent behavior, identifies the swarm’s weakest-coupled partition, and tracks a time-resolved coordination metric to reveal fragmentation, regime shifts, and recovery after disturbance. Demonstration results show sensitivity to alignment tuning, leader–follower control, communication degradation, stochastic noise, and sparse-scaling tradeoffs—making SwarmField useful for resilience benchmarking, anomaly detection, and controller evaluation.
PlumeField
Rapid probabilistic plume footprinting for screening and scenario triage
PlumeField converts offline wind climatology into GIS-ready probability-of-exceedance contours using a lightweight Monte Carlo plume-screening model. It is designed for fast exploratory analysis when time, data, or compute are limited. In the demonstration suite, a baseline scenario generated three contour levels in 8.5 seconds, while sensitivity sweeps showed interpretable changes with source strength, release height, and local meteorology. PlumeField is best positioned as a screening-grade capability for rapid decision support and parameter sweeps.
Core Analytic Infrastructure
SIMPLEX
Deployable persistent-homology engine for operational topological analytics
SIMPLEX is a narrow, exact persistent-homology engine designed for low-latency, auditable workflows. It focuses on exact H0/H1 computation for curated metric and graph workloads, with deterministic execution, explicit provenance, and a compact runtime surface suitable for deployment. In benchmark testing, SIMPLEX matched accepted reference outputs across all tested cases while substantially reducing runtime and memory relative to comparison tools, supporting operational use of topological analytics beyond the research notebook.
