Mark M. Bailey, PhD
Founder | Principal Intelligence Officer
Mark Bailey is the founder and Principal Intelligence Officer of DataField Intelligence, where he leads work in interpretable AI, complexity science, graph and topological analytics, and national-security decision support. A lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, his career spans defense intelligence, biodefense, counterproliferation, AI-enabled analysis, and academic leadership. He previously served as an associate professor and department chair at the National Intelligence University. He is the award-winning author of Unknowable Minds: Philosophical Insights on AI and Autonomous Weapons.
Michael P. Blum
Founder | Principal Integration Officer
Mike Blum is the co-founder and Principal Integration Officer of DataField Intelligence, where he leads the integration of AI-enabled analytics, SIGINT, secure data systems, and cross-domain architectures for defense, intelligence, and homeland-security missions. A U.S. Air Force veteran with more than two decades of technical and program experience, he has designed, tested, deployed, and sustained mission-critical intelligence, communications, and cybersecurity systems. His background spans RF and ELINT technologies, cross-domain solutions, secure networks, automation, and field integration. He specializes in translating complex operational requirements into reliable, auditable, and maintainable capabilities that connect mission users, engineers, and program leaders.
